| Original and complete in every respect 1st Model Virginia manufactory Horseman's saber, never modified during the Civil War, overall condition is fine. There is a small, faint mark on the left ricasso. The browned scabbard has a few minor dents, but is otherwise in good condition. The blade retains its original polish, has a couple of small nicks on the edge and does show having been sharpened in the past. The leather on the grip is good with one brass wire broken.
